The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) has recommended Shri T. D. Sivakumar for the post of Deputy Managing Director (DMD) in India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL).
According to the official notice issued on 21 May 2026, the FSIB interviewed 9 eligible candidates on May 20 and 21, 2026 for the DMD position in IIFCL.
The Bureau said that the recommendation was made after considering the candidates’ performance during the interaction, their overall experience, and other existing parameters. After the selection process, FSIB recommended Shri T. D. Sivakumar for appointment as Deputy Managing Director in IIFCL.
Profile of Mr. Sivakumar T.D.
Mr. Sivakumar T.D. has 30 years of industry experience, including 26 years in India Exim Bank, in various roles and in different locations and 4 years of early-career industry experience.
Having joined the Bank in 2000, Mr. Sivakumar currently heads the Infrastructure Group and Government Affairs Cell. Prior to this, he has headed the Bank’s International Relations, Corporate Communications, Credit Appraisal, Factoring Business, Business Development, Project Exports and Corporate Banking Groups and the Bank’s offices in Washington DC, Chennai and Bengaluru, and served as Secretary to the Board.
He has been part of many Integrated Analysis Groups and Task Forces within the Bank, steering strategic business decisions, including the Bank’s Medium Term Business Strategy and the reorganization of the Bank’s Commercial Business.
Mr. Sivakumar was deputed by India Exim Bank to National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development, during January 2023 to April 2024, wherein he was involved in setting up its Corporate Strategy, Partnerships and Ecosystem Development Department.
During his term in NaBFID, he contributed to its Strategic Roadmap, Partnerships with Multilateral and like Institutions, and development of its ESG Policy.
