Role Overview:
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for provisioning, onboarding, and overseeing the development and management of cloud services. You will plan service development based on business demand and projected cloud architecture expectations. Additionally, you will govern, approve, and lead key product changes while ensuring network operations’ safety and efficiency through continuous monitoring. Your role will also involve ensuring adherence to data protection and security norms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Adoption & Transition: Lead various cloud adoption initiatives and manage service transitions to the cloud.
- Production Stability: Continuously review production issues during the hyper-care period and ensure cloud operations are stabilized.
- Cloud Migration: Develop and manage cloud migration plans, organizing applications into bundles for migration in waves.
- Collaboration: Work with ICICI Bank business and IT stakeholders to refine automated provisioning through pattern and workflow documentation. Assist development teams with migration, cutover, and rollback if needed.
- Automation & CI/CD Support: Provide support for build orchestration and automation tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins) for the CI/CD pipeline.
- Service Implementation: Own the cloud service implementation and transitioning plan with support from other teams.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech with 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in cloud operations.
- Cloud Computing Expertise: Experience in using orchestration, automation, and provisioning tools for cloud computing services.
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to expanding professional and technical knowledge.
- Cloud Migration Experience: Understanding and hands-on experience in onboarding new services to a cloud environment.
- Provisioning Tools: Experience in evaluating and configuring provisioning tools suited for banking IT environments.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
