Korba, Chhattisgarh: On Tuesday night, a fire incident occurred at the branch office of State Bank of India located in the Niharika area near Ghantaghar Chowk in Korba. The cause of the fire was attributed to the negligence of the SBI employees who forgot to turn off the air conditioner after work. The rising heat led to a short circuit, resulting in a massive fire outbreak.

As news of the fire spread, panic ensued among the people in the vicinity. The incident was immediately reported to the police and fire department, prompting a swift response. The Civil Line Police and the fire department swiftly arrived at the scene to control the fire and prevent it from spreading further.

Fortunately, the fire was brought under control before it could reach the cash and important documents within the branch office. Bank officer Madhavi Singh, who received information about the incident over the phone, witnessed the office engulfed in flames upon arrival. The fire department quickly deployed fire vehicles to help contain and extinguish the fire.
