RBI has released a new Circular on Cyber Resilience and Digital Payment Security Controls for non-bank Payment System Operators.

These guidelines aim to ensure that companies operating payment systems can protect customers’ money and data from cyberattacks, prevent digital payment fraud, and continue providing services even when a cyber incident occurs. Non-bank Payment System Operators (PSOs) are companies or organisations that operate payment systems but are not banks.
