Govt teacher dismissed from job and sent to jail, Rs.60 lakhs salary will also be recovered from him

The Fatehpur Education Department in Uttar Pradesh has dismissed a teacher and initiated legal proceedings against him for securing the position using forged documents.
Saket Tiwari, appointed as an assistant teacher at Datauli Primary School in the Asauthar block in September 2010, faced scrutiny regarding his educational qualifications. Upon receiving a complaint, the then Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) Mr. Sanjay Kushwaha authorized an investigation led by Assistant Block Education Officer (ABSA) Ms. Deepti Richariya. The investigation revealed that the documents submitted by Mr. Tiwari were fake. Consequently, the department terminated his employment in February 2023 for furnishing false information.
Based on the investigation’s findings, an FIR was filed against Mr. Tiwari at Lalauli police station under relevant sections, including fraud. He absconded after the dismissal but was recently apprehended by Lalauli police based on a tip. Mr. Tiwari now faces legal action and is liable to repay an estimated Rs. 60 lakh, the salary he earned during his fraudulent employment period.
BSA Pankaj Yadav confirmed the incident and emphasized the department’s commitment to upholding transparency and taking strict action against such misconduct.
