Fire Breaks Out at Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank in Shahjahanpur Due to Short Circuit
A fire broke out at the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank in Jevan village under the Powayan police station area of Shahjahanpur on Wednesday evening.
At around 7:30 pm, people passing near the bank noticed smoke coming out from the bank’s gate.

After seeing the smoke, villagers quickly gathered outside the bank. They immediately informed the police by calling the emergency helpline number 112.

After receiving information about the incident, police contacted the fire brigade. Firefighters soon reached the bank and tried to extinguish the fire.
During the inspection, it was found that the fire had started due to a short circuit in the bank’s electrical board. The fire brigade team brought the fire under control and extinguished it.
In another update, Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank has issued a new order regarding branch timings, cash transaction hours and customer service hours.
