Bank Manager meets with Accident after returning from Late Night Meeting
A shocking news has been reported from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. A bank manager working with Indian Bank has died in an accident after returning from Late night meeting in Zonal Office Gorakhpur.

According to the available information, the deceased officer has been identified as Chandan Vikas, an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) posted at Indian Bank’s Shahzadpur branch. The young officer was aged around 37 years.
The officer had gone to the Mandali office to attend an ABM meeting. He was reportedly called for the meeting at around 4 pm. However, it has been claimed that the meeting started late and ended at around 7:30 pm. After the meeting, the officer started his return journey to Shahzadpur.
The information shared by bank employees claims that Shahzadpur branch is around 129 kilometres away from the Zonal Office. The officer was reportedly travelling back after the meeting when the accident occurred. The officer’s vehicle reportedly crashed into the bamboo-loaded tractor.
After the shocking incident, Bank Employees gathered at the Zonal Office. In Gorakhpur and protested against the Zonal Manager.

Bank Employees said that late night meetings are becoming very common in Indian Bank and it is a big issue regarding the safety of employees. Moreover, frequent meetings mean that Branch Heads remain away from branches thereby leading to shortage of staff in branches.
Bank Employees are protesting actively against the late night sitting and the WhatsApp groups are full of such messages.
