Big News! Finance Minister’s Signature Forged, Letter with fake sign sent to Home Ministry

According to officials, an unidentified individual is alleged to have forged the signatures of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in a letter addressed to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The individual did so under false pretenses, and as a result, a case of impersonation and forgery has been registered.

The forged letter, which was written on a counterfeit letterhead bearing the Finance Minister’s name and a forged signature, contained potentially harmful contents that could mislead or manipulate government processes. The activities described not only compromise the integrity of those involved but also pose a threat to the overall security and functioning of our government institutions, according to B N Bhaskar, Additional Private Secretary to the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs.

Authorities have stated that the accused person is currently on the run.

Arrest Made for Attempted Fraud Using Fake Identity Card at Home Ministry Office

In a separate incident, police have arrested an individual for attempting to enter the Home Ministry office using a fake identity card with the intention of defrauding people. The suspect, identified as Aditya Pratap Singh, was apprehended by security personnel at the entrance of the premises. During the arrest, a fake ID card with a forged Ministry of Home Affairs header was recovered from the suspect.

A Special Cell team was called to the scene to interrogate Singh. After investigating potential terror-related angles, no evidence supporting such claims has been found thus far. It appears that Singh’s motive was to gain entry to the Home Ministry premises and defraud individuals by posing as a senior IAS officer.
