During a monthly review meeting held on November 22nd, the administration examined self-help groups formed under the National Rural Livelihood Mission for Cash Credit Linkage (CCL) approval.
However, it was discovered that the branch managers of Bank of Baroda Kandharpur and Bhandsar were not cooperating in the CCL approval process and were unnecessarily harassing the women in these groups.
In response to these allegations, District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar ordered the filing of an FIR against both branch managers. Following the DM’s instructions, an FIR was registered against the Branch Manager of Bank of Baroda Kandharpur at the Cantt police station on Sunday.
Additionally, an FIR was registered against the Branch Manager of Bank of Baroda Bhandsar at the Hafizganj police station on Monday. The police have filed the FIRs and launched an investigation.
