Bulandshahar: The customers of the Punjab National Bank branch located in the city created a ruckus outside the bank on Wednesday. Consumers were worried about getting KYC done for a long time.
Consumers have accused bank employees of doing KYC by taking money. Dozens of bank customers gathered outside the Jahangirabad branch of Punjab National Bank on Wednesday afternoon. Consumers, upset with the arbitrariness of the bank employees, created a ruckus against them.
Many consumers present in the crowd said that bank employees are exploiting them in the name of doing KYC of the account. In the name of doing KYC, a demand of Rs 100 is made.
Bank employees are reluctant to do KYC if money is not paid. Police reached the spot and pacified the rioting bank customers.
