Case Registered for Threatening Bank MD in Almora

In Almora, a case has been registered against an individual from Haldwani who allegedly threatened to kill the Managing Director (MD) of the Almora Urban Co-operative Bank. The incident took place at the bank’s head office, where the accused reportedly obstructed government work. MD PC Tiwari lodged a complaint stating that Vipin Chandra Pandey, a resident of Puranpur Nainwal, Haldwani, visited the office to discuss a bank-related matter. However, upon entering Tiwari’s room, Pandey allegedly began threatening him and impeding government work by making death threats. The in-charge of the police station, Jagdish Chandra Deupa, confirmed that a case has been registered against the accused and an investigation is currently underway.
