In Haryana’s Rewari district, a tragic incident occurred involving a worker from a private bank. The young man lost his life in an unfortunate accident while he was on his way back home from work. The accident took place near Majra on the Rewari-Jaisalmer highway when a speeding car collided with his motorcycle. The collision resulted in the bike becoming entangled with the car, which continued to move for a distance of 3 kilometers. A resident named Naveen from Hudiya Kala village in Rajasthan witnessed the accident and took action. He pursued the car driver, managed to make him stop briefly, but due to the darkness, the driver managed to escape after a short pause.
The Khol police station has taken prompt action by filing a case against the driver responsible for the accident. The victim’s body underwent a postmortem examination and was subsequently released to his family. The victim, Balwan (25), hailed from Rambas in Narnaul district and was employed at a private bank in Rewari city. On the evening of the incident, while returning home from work, Balwan’s motorcycle was struck from behind by a Delhi-registered I-20 car on the Rewari-Jaisalmer highway, near the Majra flyover.
Naveen, a resident of Hoodia Kalan, had been trailing behind on his own motorcycle from the Rewari side. Upon witnessing the collision, he made an effort to halt the car driver, but unfortunately, Balwan’s motorcycle became trapped in the car. Despite Naveen’s attempts, the driver did not stop, prompting Naveen to embark on a 3-kilometer pursuit to catch up with and halt the driver. However, the driver managed to escape, abandoning the car.
Afterward, Naveen returned to the scene and with the assistance of others, Balwan was rushed to the trauma center. Tragically, the doctors declared him deceased due to the injuries sustained in the accident. Upon receiving the news, both Balwan’s family members and the police reached the hospital. A case has been initiated against the driver who fled, based on a complaint lodged by Balwan’s uncle Rajendra, at the Khol police station.
