A young man who attended the Bank of India (BOI) management’s job onboarding for the IBPS 13th Bank Clerk Exam was caught after it was suspected that his biometric photo did not match. The individual, from Bihar, revealed that he had paid 10 lakh rupees to a solver to pass the bank clerk exam. Ravikant Shukla, an officer from the bank’s human resources department, filed a report with the city police.
The accused, Deepak Kumar Paswan, resides in the Danapur area of Patna, Bihar. He secured the job by manipulating four documents. Bank officials informed the police that they matched Deepak Kumar’s available documents and records with his photo. It was discovered that he had altered the original documents, attaching someone else’s photo and taking the exam on behalf of another person.
During initial questioning, Deepak Kumar named Amit Kumar as the solver. He mentioned that he met Amit while preparing for the exam, and Amit had filled out the application for him. After securing the job, Deepak worked for three days but resigned out of fear of getting caught. However, bank officials called him back for rejoining, and he had come to Hardoi on Friday for that purpose. The police have registered an FIR and arrested Deepak Kumar. City CO Ankit Mishra stated that the investigation is ongoing.
This a matter of serious concern that there may be huge network of scam like SI Trainees and REET candidates who got jobs with collusion of RPSC members, one point is to be noted that one SI Trainees is also involved who was honoured with “Gargi prize”.
Thanks to vigilant officer who tried meticulously watched and matched the photo with biometric image.
Editing and tampering with photos, leakage of papers, for the purpose of sitting dummy candidates and become millionaire within overnight has found on huge level in Rajasthan RPSC competitive exams.
Now the RPSC and RSMMB issued instruction in notification in future to affix live photo with blinking of eye brows.
The IBPS must recommend to the Hon’ble Court to transfer this case to CBI and the Bank should physically verify the liquid and fixed assets of real and dummy candidates.
Bank must specifically make enquiry in this case that in how many other such cases, the dummy candidate appeared in exam in.place of real candidates.
I request and appeal to all Bankers of yiubg generation that this infection like Covid must not be spreaded.
One more point is to be focussed that to repirt to BM or controlling office if they find any kind of suspicious activities and if any person living life levishly more than his/her income.
