
Santosh Kumar Singh, a resident of Dhunauli Thakuran in Ramsnehi Ghat, Barabanki, was working as the Chief Manager of the Bank of Baroda in Uganda. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly, leaving his family and community in deep sorrow.

Sudden Illness While Playing Cricket
On the morning of March 2, around 10 AM, Santosh Kumar Singh was playing cricket in a field. While playing, he suddenly felt severe pain in his chest and collapsed on the ground. His friends immediately rushed him to the nearest hospital. However, doctors could not save him and declared him dead upon arrival.
Grief in the Family and Village
Santosh was living in Uganda with his wife and two children. When his family and relatives received the news of his untimely death, they were devastated. The tragic news also shocked his native village, Dhunauli Thakuran, where mourning spread among the villagers.
Body Brought to India for Last Rites
After completing all necessary formalities in Uganda, Santosh Kumar Singh’s body was flown to Delhi on Wednesday. From there, it was transported to his village at night.

Last Rites and Minister’s Condolence Visit
His funeral was held on Thursday in his village. Many family members, relatives, and villagers gathered to pay their last respects. During this time, Minister of State for Food and Logistics, Satish Chandra Sharma, also visited the village. He met the grieving family, offered his condolences, and expressed his support during this difficult time.
Santosh Kumar Singh’s sudden demise is a great loss to his family and community. May his soul rest in peace.
