In a tragic incident in Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh), the body of an assistant manager working in Pratham UP Grameen Bank was discovered lying on the roadside. The deceased was found with a pistol in his hand and a bullet wound in his head, surrounded by blood. Passersby immediately alerted the police and the family members were also called to the scene. The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination and are currently investigating the incident as a suicide.

Allegations of Harassment and Murder

The wife of the assistant manager believes that her husband’s death was not a suicide, but rather a murder. She claims that her husband had been facing significant harassment at his workplace, which pushed him to take this extreme step. The incident occurred in the Chandausi police station area of Sambhal, and the body was discovered around 1 pm.

Investigation and Background Information

The police are actively investigating the case and have not yet reached a final conclusion. The assistant manager, identified as Sadanand, was a resident of Hajipur in Bihar and had been working in Sambhal for the past two years. According to his wife, he was posted at a rural bank and had experienced constant harassment, hindering his professional growth and causing significant mental distress. She also mentioned that he was subjected to mistreatment and faced multiple transfers. The financial strain resulted in him taking a loan to meet household expenses, and the family had been unable to visit their village for quite some time.

Devastated Family and Ongoing Investigation

The wife recollected that her husband was visibly upset and expressed his dissatisfaction with his job. However, due to familial responsibilities, he felt compelled to continue working. On the morning of the incident, they had a conversation. He had tea and spoke with someone on the phone. After that, he left the house, and it was only later that they received the devastating news of his death.

The family is now left in a state of shock and uncertainty about their future. The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination, and while they suspect suicide, they are awaiting the final report to determine the exact cause of death. They are also taking the allegations of harassment and debt into serious consideration. The authorities have assured the family that appropriate action will be taken once a formal complaint is filed.

SP Kuldeep Singh Gunawat, who is overseeing the case, has stated that the investigation is ongoing and more information will be revealed as the inquiry progresses. The police are committed to uncovering the truth behind this tragic incident and ensuring that justice is served.
