Axis Bank: Loan issued to customer without his knowledge

In a recent incident in Shahpur, Gorakhpur, a case of fraud has been filed against Axis Bank employees and cyber criminals. The victim, Rajeev Singh, a resident of Kudwa in the Shyamdeurwa area of Maharajganj district, reported that money was withdrawn from his account without his knowledge, and a personal loan was taken in his name.

According to Rajeev Singh, on April 2, he tried to withdraw money from his Axis Bank account to fill petrol in his car, but the transaction was unsuccessful. When he visited the bank, he was informed that Rs 22,000 had already been withdrawn from his account, and a personal loan of Rs 3 lakh had been taken without his permission. Rajeev Singh alleges that this could not have happened without the involvement of bank employees.

The Shahpur police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter. It is not clear at this time how the fraudsters gained access to Rajeev Singh’s account and were able to withdraw money and take a loan without his knowledge.

This incident is not an isolated case. There have been several instances of fraud and embezzlement in the district, where cyber criminals and bank employees have been involved in defrauding customers and the banks themselves. In September of the previous year, Shahpur police registered a case of fraud against unknown bank employees for forcibly issuing a credit card.

It is important for individuals to remain vigilant and regularly monitor their bank accounts for any suspicious activity. If any unauthorized transactions are detected, it is advisable to report them to the bank immediately and file a complaint with the local authorities.

    How its possible ., bank manager and so many employers through document s will move…

  2. Most of the private sector bank employees are outsourced and they have access to all the personal details of the customers. The customers should be aware of this serious malady going on in many private sector banks in India and should avoid sharing the personal details with the so called bank employees. I would like to add that our PSU banks are better placed as the Bank employees in PSU Banks are not outsourced and are permanently employed.

    At that time phone call number defected call from axis bank rewards point.
    Many emails,sms through pressurise to me.

  4. Customer would have been negligent in sharing his details with his relatives or friends. Without 5% share of Customer, it is not possible to get a loan and disbursement

  6. Axis Bank has already duped me making 2 MaxLife Insurance an year ,after submitting the complaint it’s 3 yrs abscond manager ,staff and also found.personal loan money used for self and left the loan unpaid for customer.

Axis bank is collaborated with Paisa Bazar and shared all the customer details to them to give credit card and personal loans i personally face this issue with axis bank because my salary account is there. I recently required a loan so I got a call from Paisa bazar but they spoke with me as a axis bank employee and with huge interest rate they were trying to commit me i said with that roi I won’t take I told later they told they will provide Amazon gift voucher what ever extra money you are paying as roi will provide that much as voucher as that you will get the as you asked so I agree later when I asked the same they told axis bank don’t provide these kind of offers then why you people mis guide the customer I asked then it’s the call you receive from Paisa bazar you can spoke with them I got this answer. Then I asked why Paisa bazar called me how they got my details they directly saying we shared from axis bank.

    The worst part they don’t even think about customer got cheated for this and they answered that we have targets. So we are doing and it’s a genuine agreement. I asked this mis guide information from your side to achieve targets how it will geniune I asked they told spoke with Paisa bazar and disconnected the call.
