The State Bank of India (SBI) has released vacancy for recruitment of candidates to the post of Group CISO (Chief Information Security Officer). The last date to apply is 24.09.2026.
Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 57 years. Candidates must fulfill age limt as on 31.08.2026.
Salary
The annual CTC is Upto Rs 2.50 crore. Annual CTC will be bifurcated into Fixed Pay & Variable pay in the ratio 90:10.

Selection Process includes Shortlisting & Interview followed by CTC Negotiation.
Education Qualifications
B. Tech/ B.E. in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Software Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communications Engineering/Cyber Security or Equivalent Degree in above specified disciplines with minimum 50% score Or MCA Or M. Tech/ M. Sc in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/ Software Engineering/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communications Engineering/Cyber Security or Equivalent Degree in above specified disciplines.
(From a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies).
Preferred Certifications (As on 31.08.2026)
Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are preferred. (Certificates should be valid as on the date of Interview).
Essential Experience (As on 31.08.2026)
The applicant must have at least 15-20 years post qualification experience in Information Technology/ Information Security in Banks/ Large Corporates/ PSUs/ FIs/ Financial Services Organizations/ Financial & Technology Consulting firms, of which minimum 5 years should be in the core domain area of Information Security/Cyber Security/ Cyber Defence in Banks/ FIs at Senior Management Level.
