Allegations and Ouster: After scaling Zilingo to new heights, Ankiti Bose faced a challenging period as she was removed from her position as CEO in 2022. The reasons cited included allegations of financial misrepresentation and mismanagement within the company. These accusations involved the unauthorized increase of her salary by tenfold without the board’s approval and unexplained payments amounting to $10 million to various vendors.

Legal Battle: Currently, Ankiti Bose is embroiled in a significant legal battle, pursuing a $100 million lawsuit against investor Mahesh Murthy. The lawsuit presumably adds another layer of complexity to her professional journey.

Early Life and Education: Born in Dehradun, Ankiti Bose pursued her schooling at Cambridge School in Mumbai. For her graduation, she attended Mumbai’s prestigious St. Xavier’s College. Following her academic pursuits, Bose entered the professional arena, securing roles at McKinsey & Company and Sequoia Capital in Bangalore.
