
In the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Ananya Birla announced, “Guys, this has been the toughest decision.” Ananya Birla, the daughter of Kumar Mangalam Birla, the head of Aditya Birla Group, revealed that she is stepping away from her music career to focus on her business ventures. She explained, “I’ve reached a point where juggling both my businesses and my music has become nearly impossible and it’s taking a toll on me in ways I can’t express.”


She went on to say, “Thank you for all the love and support for the music I’ve released over the years. I hope we can continue to appreciate English music produced by our own people, as there is immense talent in our country. Thank you once again. It’s time for me to channel all my energy into the business world.”
Several celebrities responded to her announcement. Singer Armaan Malik expressed sadness at her decision while also offering words of encouragement. Actor Bobby Deol and tennis player Sania Mirza wished her success in her future endeavors.
Ananya Birla made her singing debut with the single “Livin The Life” in 2016. Her English single earned her the distinction of being the first Indian artist to achieve platinum status and feature on the American national top 40 pop radio show Sirius XM Hits. Her latest music includes 24 audio.
Additionally, Ananya Birla is the founder and CEO of Svatantra Microfinance, which provides financial services to low-income households and women entrepreneurs in rural India. She also serves as the founder and CEO of CuroCarte, a luxury e-commerce platform specializing in handmade and artisanal products from around the world.
