As per reports, if a woman employee even files a Harassment complaint against a senior officer, the complaint gets closed, and in the majority of cases, the female officer is punished and the senior officer get acquitted due to his nexus with higher management. This has raised serious questions about how the investigations are being done by bank management in harassment cases.

According to ACP Devendra Singh Dhurve, the woman was working as a probationary officer in SBI. On the day of the incident, her family members went to call her for breakfast. When she did not respond, they became worried. They used a key to unlock the room from the outside. To their shock, they found her hanging in the room.
The officer had recently been transferred to the rural branch of SBI in Indore. Police have started an investigation and are trying to understand the possible causes behind her decision. Officials are also expected to look into the complaints she had made on the Garima Portal for any possible leads. This tragic incident has left the family and her colleagues deeply shocked and saddened.
The bankers across social media are raising their voice against this suicide case. This is a piece of painful news, and Banks and other organizations must try to ensure that such incidents do not happen again.
