
According to a survey conducted by the ‘India Today’ group, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is the second most popular chief minister in the country. The survey, called the ‘Mood of the Nation’, revealed that Adityanath received a popularity rating of 51.3 percent, placing him second on the list. The top position was secured by Naveen Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Odisha, with a popularity rating of 52.7 percent. The survey aimed to measure the popularity of chief ministers across India.

In the survey, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ranked third with a popularity rating of 48.6 percent, followed by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel with 42.6 percent. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha also made it to the top five with a rating of 41.4 percent. It is worth noting that Naveen Patnaik has been serving as the Chief Minister of Odisha for the past two decades, while Yogi Adityanath is the 22nd Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, having made history by returning to power in 2022.
