Senior Journalist Sushant Sinha has supported Bank Strike. Sushant Sinha is an Indian senior journalist and news anchor currently working as a Consulting Editor with News18 India, where he hosts the prime-time show Desh Ki Pathshala.
He said Bank Employees are forced to do many other works apart from banking. Bankers are forced to implement government schemes and sell insurance and mutual fund products. Banks are also continuing suffering from staff shortage. Due to this continuous staff shortage, Bank employees are forced to work 2-3 hours extra daily.
Government is also not implementing 5-day banking whereas the 5-day work week is already followed in several financial institutions such as LIC.
He said what wrong bank employees are demanding? They also have families and thus, deserve a better work life balance.
