State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online application from Indian citizen for engagement of retired officials of SBI, other PSBs including RRBs to the following posts on contractual basis. The selection will be based on shortlisting & Interview. Last date to apply is 08.03.2026.

Eligibility
FLC Counsellor
Officials retired in Scale-I & up to Scale-IV from SBI / other PSBs/ RRBs. Clerical retired from SBI can also apply. Retired Clerical staff of SBI only may be considered in case required no. of officers for FLC Counsellors are not available.
FLC Director
Officers retired in Scale III & IV of SBI / other PSBs/ RRBs.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 60 Years
Maximum Age: 63 Years (as on 31 January 2026)
Not below 60 years and not above 63 years (i.e. candidate must have been born not earlier than 01.02.1963 and not later than 31.01.1966, both days inclusive). Maximum age indicated is for General category candidates. No Relaxation in age available to reserved category candidates.

Eligibility:
Retired Officers of the Bank/other PSBs including RRBs in the Scale I and up to Scale-IV shall be considered for engagement as Financial Literacy Counsellors for the above positions. In case the required number of retired staff of our Bank/other PSBs are not available, then retired clerical staff from SBI only may also be considered for engagement. (Officers retired in Scale I & up to Scale-IV of SBI / other PSBs/RRBs. Retired Clerical staff of SBI to be considered only in case required number of Officers are not available).

As the counsellors are expected to counsel the public in all issues related with financial institutions, proficiency in local language (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) and working knowledge of computers is essential.
Specific Requirement:
The retired officer should possess a Smart Mobile Phone and knowledge of computer is essential.
