Toxic Work Culture, Overtime, Holiday Working: 24 year old Banker leaves Job
A 24 year old banker has left his job. He uploaded a video citing toxic work culture in bank as the main reason of resignation.
The video has gone viral on social media. The man cited various reasons for resignation such as Toxic Work Culture, overtime working, late sitting, holiday working, no time for eating lunch, etc.
The banker said that he had graduated from a premier engineering institute and had secured a 17 LPA job at a reputed Bank. But the toxic work culture in Bank made him think of another career and he ultimately resigned. The video is given below. Watch video and read what he said.

One important point that he said is that Bankers are expected to complete lunch in just 15 minutes and get back to work, highlighting that Bankers don’t even get enough time to eat their lunch.
The Ex-Banker said that he was not able to take leaves as for each single leave he had to submit justification. He questioned – what’s the use of leaves if you can’t take leaves on time.
He also said that the sales pressure is immense in banks. He was asked to bring business of Rs.10 crore each month.
Another issue raised in the question was Mis-selling. He said that banks Mis-sell a lot of products to the customers. He recalled an incident wherein an HNI Client was mis-sold the policies.
He also said that Bank was recommending high cost trading apps to customers whereas same service is available for free in Groww and Zerodha.
