
Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s oldest and biggest banks, celebrated its 131st Foundation Day on April 12, 2025. On this special occasion, the bank launched 34 new products and services to better serve its customers.
What are the new products?
Out of these 34 products:
- 12 are new deposit schemes, designed to meet the needs of different types of customers.
- 10 are digital transformation products, which use technology to improve customer experience and services.
These new products were launched in the presence of M Nagaraju, Secretary of the Department of Financial Services.
Who are these new deposit schemes for?
The bank said that these schemes are specially made for:
- Salaried professionals
- Women
- Defense personnel
- Farmers
- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
- Senior citizens
- Pensioners
- Students
- Youth
In short, people from almost every section of society will benefit from these schemes.

PNB’s Managing Director and CEO, Ashok Chandra, said:
