
The wife of PNB Bank Manager working in Bikaner had allegedly committed suicide. It was reported that she committed suicide by hanging herself in the bathroom. Now, the news of this tragic incident in Napasar town has sparked widespread attention.
The family of the deceased woman has filed a complaint with the local police station, accusing her husband, mother-in-law, and father-in-law of demanding dowry. They complained that their daughter was killed due to dowry demands. The police are actively investigating the case, as the allegation suggests that the woman was murdered and then made to appear as if she hanged herself.
In Napasar town, Sandesh Choudhary, the manager of the Punjab National Bank branch, resides on rent in Vyas Mohalla. On Friday, his wife, Vijayalakshmi, allegedly took her own life by hanging herself in the bathroom. The police arrived at the scene and transported the body to the mortuary of Napasar CHC.
They decided to wait for the arrival of the deceased’s relatives from Sirsa, Haryana, before conducting the postmortem examination. In the morning, the family members of Vijayalakshmi arrived, and her father, Subhash Siyag, accused her husband, Sandesh Chaudhary, along with her father-in-law, Balveer, and mother-in-law, Sulochana, of being responsible for her death due to dowry harassment.
Police officer Jasveer confirmed that a case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. According to the FIR, Vijayalakshmi, also known as Monu, was the daughter of Subhash Siyag, who was married to Sandesh. After their marriage, Sandesh secured a job. Since then, Vijayalakshmi was subjected to constant harassment for dowry. The pressure intensified, demanding either dowry or a government job for their daughter. It is alleged that Sandesh Choudhary would often resort to physical assault after consuming alcohol.
