The employees argue that these transfers are being carried out without following the established protocols and guidelines, causing undue hardship to the affected individuals. Many of the staff members, who have been serving in their respective branches for several years, claim that the transfers were executed without any prior notice or consideration of their personal or professional circumstances. In response to these grievances, PNB employees gathered at Gorakhpur Circle Officer, staging demonstrations to voice their discontent. The protestors are demanding that the Circle Head reconsider the transfer orders and take into account the well-being of the employees and their families. They are also calling for greater transparency and fairness in the transfer process, ensuring that decisions are made based on merit and in line with bank policies.
Union leaders and representatives from various employee associations have also stepped in to support the protest, urging the management to address the concerns raised by the staff. They emphasized that such arbitrary transfers not only disrupt the lives of the employees but also negatively impact the overall functioning of the bank.
The employees have made it clear that the protests will continue until their demands are met and a fair resolution is reached. They are seeking an immediate dialogue with the senior management to resolve the issue and restore fairness in the transfer process.
