On 25 April 2023, Punjab National Bank, one of India’s leading public sector banks, celebrated the opening of its renovated branch located at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi. The branch was inaugurated by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd., in the presence of Atul Kumar Goel, MD & CEO, and Kalyan Kumar, Executive Director, of PNB.
Several other esteemed guests also attended the inauguration ceremony, including Sameer Bajpai, Zonal Manager, P.P. Singh, General Manager of Delhi Zone, and Amritabh Anand, Circle Head of South Delhi (Convener Office), along with other Circle Heads from Circle Offices of Delhi Zone and executives from the Zonal Office in Delhi.
PNB operates over 10,000 branches, 12,900 ATMs, and 24,000 Business Correspondents to cater to the banking needs of more than 18.5 crore people across the country. This achievement demonstrates the bank’s commitment to providing accessible and efficient banking services to its customers, particularly in the healthcare sector. The renovated branch premises will undoubtedly enhance PNB’s ability to serve its customers in the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital area and provide them with a seamless banking experience.
