Mamta Banerjee gets injured, admitted in hospital

On a recent day, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee unfortunately experienced a significant injury to her forehead after suffering a fall at her residence. The injury was serious enough to require stitches, and following treatment, she was discharged from the hospital. Before being taken home, she underwent necessary medical tests, with her nephew Abhishek Banerjee and other family members by her side.

The All India Trinamool Congress promptly shared distressing photos of Ms. Banerjee on a hospital bed, depicting a deep cut in the middle of her forehead and blood on her face. The Chief Minister was promptly transported to the SSKM Hospital in Kolkata for medical care. The party urgently requested support and prayers for her recovery, as evidenced in their statement, “Our chairperson Mamata Banerjee sustained a major injury. Please keep her in your prayers.” Furthermore, Sukanta Majumdar, state president of Trinamool Congress, conveyed his hopes for her swift recovery, stating, “Wishing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with her for a quick return to good health.” Additionally, Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar, expressed deep concern and extended his well wishes for her speedy recovery.

A poignant video captured the Chief Minister being transported to the Neurosciences Department of the hospital in a wheelchair, with a bandage visible on her forehead. This unfortunate incident has prompted an outpouring of support and well wishes for the Chief Minister’s recovery, and the people of West Bengal and beyond are undoubtedly hoping for her swift return to good health.
