Loot case filed against HDFC Bank Manager

A case of robbery involving a car, cash, and goods has been reported in the Nagar Kotwali area. The victim, Vishal Sharma, filed a complaint stating that he had taken a loan from HDFC Bank in 2018 to purchase a car. Despite regularly paying the monthly installments, he was targeted by a group of individuals near Rodibelwala while he was driving his sister to the district hospital.

The assailants, including Sandeep Chaudhary and two unidentified individuals, forcibly stopped the car, dragged Vishal out, verbally abused him, and physically assaulted him. Allegedly, on the instructions of the bank managers, Sandeep snatched the car keys and made off with the vehicle. In addition to the car, several valuable belongings were stolen, including Vishal’s passport, bank passbook, Aadhaar card, PAN card, firm’s bill book, an amount of Rs 5,000, and a gold ring. Furthermore, his sister’s bag was also looted.

Upon contacting the bank managers, Gulshan and Manish Arora, they claimed that Sandeep had acted under their instructions. The police have registered a case against five suspects, including the recovery agent and the two bank managers, under various relevant sections, including robbery. The authorities have initiated an investigation and are preparing to apprehend the accused individuals. The case is being handled by City Kotwali in-charge Kundan Singh Rana.
