Revival World: In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a couple has been accused of cheating elderly people out of Rs 35 crore by claiming they could make them young again using a special “time machine” from Israel. Rajeev Kumar Dubey and his wife Rashmi Dubey set up a center called Revival World, where they promised to transform a 60-year-old into a 25-year-old using “oxygen therapy,” according to the police.
The Dubeys told their customers that the air around them was polluted, which was causing them to age faster. They claimed that their “oxygen therapy” could reverse this aging process and restore their youth within just a few months. Many elderly people believed this and signed up for their expensive packages.
The couple offered different packages to their customers. One package was priced at Rs 6,000 for 10 sessions, while another was as high as Rs 90,000 for a three-year program that they called a “reward system.”
One of the victims, Renu Singh, filed a complaint with the police after she lost Rs 10.75 lakh to the couple. She said that many others had also been cheated, and the total amount of money the couple took from people was about Rs 35 crore.
After Renu Singh’s complaint, the police registered a case of cheating. They are now searching for Rajeev and Rashmi Dubey, but it is suspected that the couple may have fled the country.
This case serves as a reminder to be cautious of schemes that promise unrealistic results, especially those targeting vulnerable people like the elderly.
