Last night, two unidentified men on a motorcycle shot ICICI bank manager outside the bank in Feroze Gandhi Market, Ludhiana, Punjab. The bullet grazed his right arm. People present on the spot immediately took him to the Civil Hospital for treatment.

After receiving first aid, the injured manager was transferred to DMC Hospital. Doctors at the Civil Hospital informed the police at Division No. 5. The police are investigating the case.

The bank manager, Vishal Bansal, said he lives in Vishal Nagar on Pakhowal Road. He works as a zonal manager at ICICI bank in Feroze Gandhi Market.

The attack happened on Thursday night around 9 p.m., after the bank had closed. Vishal was entering into his car when two men on a motorcycle came from behind.

The attackers fired one shot at Vishal and the bullet passed through his hand. Vishal immediately called for help. Many people gathered nearby, and the attackers ran away.

Panic spread in Feroze Gandhi Market after the shooting. Vishal’s colleagues took him to the hospital in a car. They also recovered a bullet shell from the scene and handed it over to the police.

According to the hospital doctor, the bullet passed through Vishal’s hand. The police are continuing their investigation. More details will be released soon.
