The RBI and Banks have declared the official holidays in banks for the month of May 2026. In the majority of the states, banks are closed only for 1 or 2 days. In Tripura, J&K and West Bengal, banks are closed for 3 days, while in Odisha, there is no holiday for bank employees. The state-wise bank holidays list in May 2026 is given below.
