Employee involved in Rs.41 Lakh Bank Robbery in MP

Yesterday evening, a robbery took place at Fatehpur Madhyanchal Gramin Bank in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. However, the police have achieved a significant breakthrough in the case. Three individuals involved in the robbery have been apprehended, and the stolen amount of Rs 41 lakh has been successfully recovered.

Details of the Robbery Incident

According to a bank employee, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening when five masked robbers held him hostage and looted the cash from the bank at gunpoint. The news of the bank robbery caused a stir in the police department, prompting the Damoh SP and Sagar Range DIG to set up camp in Fatehpur. They coordinated efforts to locate and apprehend the suspects.

Police Investigation and Arrests

The police took several measures to investigate the incident, including scanning CCTV footage and thoroughly searching the area. During the investigation, bundles of 100-rupee notes were discovered in a drain near the crime scene. This finding provided a valuable lead for the police. During intense interrogation, the bank employee who initially reported the robbery was suspected of involvement. Under pressure, he eventually confessed to his role in planning the robbery. Based on the information provided by the employee, the police made two additional arrests. By morning, all three suspects had confessed to their crimes.

Thanks to the information provided by the arrested individuals, the police were able to locate the stolen amount of Rs 41 lakh, which had been looted from the bank. The recovery of the money further strengthens the case against the accused.
