Complaint Filed Against BC Operator and Bank Manager Over Missing Withdrawn Amount
Tirathram, a resident of Fatuhapur village in the Sonwa area, has filed a formal complaint with the regional manager of Aryavart Bank, alleging that he was defrauded by the bank’s Business Correspondent (BC) operator. Tirathram claims that he withdrew a total of Rs 33,600 from his savings account on various dates through the BC operator. However, on December 16, he received only Rs 4,500 and Rs 2,000 through online transfers, with the remaining amount still withheld.
In his complaint, Tirathram has accused the BC operator of not providing the full amount and has also alleged that the branch manager, Pawan Kumar, is involved in a conspiracy to cover up the issue.
Branch Manager Pawan Kumar has denied the allegations, stating that the transactions took place outside the bank, and dismissed the accusations against him as “baseless.”
Meanwhile, the BC operator, Mukesh Kumar, has also responded, claiming that he has been falsely implicated and defamed as part of a larger conspiracy.
The matter is currently under investigation, and both parties are awaiting further action from the bank authorities.
