A Bank of Baroda staff has been brutally assaulted by a bank customer in Punjab. As per reports, Bank of Baroda cashier Manish Goyal was attacked by a man at the Bank of Baroda branch on Moga Road in Kotkapura. Reportedly, the man was also working in the bank as a daily wage employee. Watch CCTV recording video 👇

The cashier has been admitted to Civil Hospital Kotkapura for treatment. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed outside the bank. According to reports, the bank employed two daily wage employees. A few days ago, the services of one daily wage employee were terminated after a permanent employee was appointed. Bank officials had assured Deep Singh, a resident of Deviwala village, that he would be accommodated in a nearby branch in the area.

Despite this, he continued to threaten bank employees. According to bank manager Harpreet Singh, the accused and his father were called to the bank a day before the incident, where they apologized in writing. Despite this, on Thursday morning, when cashier Manish Goyal was parking his bike and entering the bank, the accused attacked him with an iron rod.

He was subsequently admitted to the Civil Hospital for treatment. The injured Manish Goyal stated that the accused had been threatening him previously as well. Although he had apologized in writing the previous day, he attacked him as soon as he arrived at the bank. Police are investigating the case based on CCTV footage and further legal action will be taken.
