Raebareli: A case of assault on a bank manager has been reported in Uttar Pradesh in Jamkoriyapur village.
The manager of the Union Bank Lalganj branch had gone to collect the EMI of loan from Bank customer, where he was allegedly assaulted. Based on the branch manager’s complaint, the police have registered an FIR against the accused and launched an investigation.
According to branch manager Mayank Deep Singh, he had gone to the house of Shrinath, a resident of Jamkoriyapur village, at around 4 pm on September 19th to collect a bank loan.
Meanwhile, Shankar Singh, a resident of Ajitpur, who was already present there, began abusing him. When he protested, the accused scuffled with him and obstructed the bank’s official work.
Lalganj Circle Officer Sujit Rai stated that an FIR has been registered against Shankar Singh based on the branch manager’s complaint. The matter is being investigated. Necessary action will be taken based on the facts revealed in the investigation.
