Bank of Baroda Manager beaten with Hockey Sticks in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh

Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: Bank of Baroda Manager in Ayodhya has been beaten mercilessly with hockey sticks and wooden rods. Bank manager was attacked in the Haidarganj area on Saturday evening. The attackers, who came on motorcycles, hit him with hockey sticks and wooden rods, leaving him injured. Even after 36 hours, the police have not been able to find the attackers. A case has been filed, and the investigation is going on.

The incident happened near Thariyakala turn on the Chaure Bazaar–Haidarganj road. Satyendra – the victim, is the Branch Manager of Bank of Baroda, Sihoria branch, and a resident of Ramkola in Ambedkar Nagar. He was returning to his room in Haidarganj around 6:35 PM on Saturday when the attack took place.

Satyendra said that four men on two bikes followed him. Their faces were covered with scarves, and they were carrying hockey sticks and rods. They attacked him and made him fall on the road with his bike.

When he started shouting for help and people gathered, the attackers ran away towards Haidarganj. The locals and passersby took the injured manager to the Community Health Centre in Ramwa, where he received primary treatment.

Haidarganj Police Station in-charge Vivek Rai said that a case has been registered against unknown people based on the victim’s complaint. Two police teams have been formed to investigate. The teams are checking CCTV footage, and the police said the attackers will be arrested soon.
