A controversy has emerged over a comment made by a female credit card officer working at Axis Bank in Rampur. The officer posted a message on her social media account about the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, specifically referring to the loss of lives among ordinary citizens during the conflict. Her comment touched on sensitive topics like Operation Sindoor and the security situation, which caused a stir online.

Police Investigation and Response

After receiving a complaint regarding the post, the local police took swift action. The female officer, who works on an outsourced contract at the Axis Bank branch in the Civil Lines area of Rampur, was called in for questioning. Upon being questioned by the police, the officer apologized for her post and promptly removed it from her social media account.

Sanjeev Kumar, the in-charge of Civil Lines police station, confirmed that the police conducted a thorough investigation into the matter. He mentioned that the post discussed the tragic loss of lives on both sides of the conflict and referenced sensitive events like Operation Sindoor and Red Alert. After reviewing the content of the post, the police did not find it to be objectionable or illegal. As a result, they decided not to take any legal action but instead provided the officer with counseling.

Officer’s Apology and Removal of Post

The officer expressed regret for her post and deleted it after the police investigation. Her comment, which focused on the human cost of war, had raised concerns among some members of the public, but the police concluded that no further action was necessary.
