5 Employees of HDFC Bank arrested in Financial Fraud in Jammu and Kashmir

Five employees of HDFC Bank have been arrested by EOW in connection with an alleged large-scale financial fraud in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch carried out searches in Shopian and Budgam districts on Wednesday in connection with the case.

The EOW stated: 5 HDFC bank employees have been arrested so far. The arrested employees are Adil Ayoub Ganai, Irfan Majeed Zargar, Mubashir Hussain Sheikh, Zaid Manzoor and Javaid Ahmad Bhat.

Searches are presently underway at multiple locations in Shopian and Budgam to collect material evidence in the case.

A written complaint was filed highlighting the financial fraud. EOW took swift action on the complaint and started the investigation. More details will be released soon.

In another update, a 26 year old employee of HDFC Bank died after being hit by a bike in Bengaluru. She was crossing the road and got hit by a bike at high speed. In another update, a female bank employee working in HDFC Bank has been killed by her husband in Gurugram on suspicion of extra-marital affair. The husband revealed that he had suspicion on the character of his wife Mehak Kathuria, aged 26 years old. Both were married 5 months ago and Mehak was 2 months pregnant. Mehak was working as deputy manager in HDFC Bank in Gurugram. Read this news.
