Union Bank of India Promotes Bhaskara Rao Chaganti Venkata Naga as Chief General Manager

State-owned Union Bank of India has announced a change in its senior management. The bank has promoted Shri Bhaskara Rao Chaganti Venkata Naga from General Manager to Chief General Manager (CGM) with effect from July 1, 2026.

According to the bank, Shri Bhaskara Rao Chaganti Venkata Naga is a Postgraduate in Commerce. He also holds professional banking qualifications, including MBA, CAIIB-I and CAIIB-II. He has extensive experience in the banking sector and has served in several important positions during his career.

Before his promotion, Shri Bhaskara Rao Chaganti Venkata Naga worked as a Zonal Head and also handled responsibilities in the MSME business segment. At present, he is looking after the Stress Asset Management Vertical at the bank’s Central Office in Mumbai.
