HDFC Bank sales executive has committed suicide in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. He said – I am tired, I can’t bear it anymore. For the last few days, there has been a lot of work pressure and if I am unable to complete it on time, I am threatened that my career will be ruined.
Govind Khatik, aged 27 years, working as a sales executive at HDFC Bank in Bhilwara has committed suicide. Govind’s body was found hanging in his room on Sunday morning. A resident of Gulabpura town, under the Gulabpura police station area, Govind Khatik was to get married next month, on November 20th.
Based on a report from the deceased’s brother, Suresh Khatik, the police have registered a case and begun an investigation. ASI Madan Lal stated that a suicide note was also recovered from the deceased, in which he accused his bank manager of work pressure and harassment.
Suresh Khatik, the deceased’s brother, said, “My brother had been working at the Vijayanagar branch of HDFC Bank for the past two years. When my sister, Anita, called out to him at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, she received no response. When Anita went to call him, Govind was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room.”
Upon hearing the sister’s screams, they all rushed to the room, cut the rope, and lowered him down. Upon receiving the information, police from Gulabpura police station arrived at the scene and sent the body to the hospital mortuary. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family.
Based on a report from the deceased’s brother, Suresh Kumar, the police have registered a case against the branch manager. Suresh has accused the manager of HDFC Bank’s Vijayanagar branch of harassing his brother regarding banking matters. Suresh stated, “My brother committed suicide due to pressure from branch manager Dhanraj Meena. Strict action should be taken against the accused manager.”

He said in the suicide note – I am exhausted now and can no longer bear it. For the past few days, I have been put under excessive work pressure, and when I could not complete the work on time, I was even threatened that my career would be ruined. My R.M., Dhanraj Meena, deliberately put me under so much work pressure that I started suffering mentally and was unable to give time to my personal life as well. It was because of this mental stress that I decided to take this step. I am sorry, my dear mother and sisters, that I could not do anything for you. Whatever anyone says, please stay strong and take care of yourselves. Stay happy.
