Thus it is clear that there is steady decline in the number of workmen in the Banks. In the last 5 years alone, the reduction in number of workmen employees is nearly one lac. Instead of adequate recruitment, the attempt is to reduce the number of workmen and to increase the workload on the shoulders of employees.
