| Period of Posting | The term of the contract of MIRA would initially be for a period of three years, subject to an interim review. The contract shall be extendable, at the sole discretion of the Bank, for a further period of up to two years. The contract can be terminated at 3 (three) months’ notice on either side or Salary and allowances (if any) in lieu thereof. |
| Job Profile | Market Intelligence and Research Analyst will serve as SIDBI’s dedicated intelligence and research resource, tracking macro, policy and sectoral trends to identify emerging opportunities aligned to SIDBI’s MSME development mandate. The role will translate external signals and data into crisp insights, structured opportunity pipelines and decision-support materials for senior management and business lines, while building repeatable SOPs and an institutional knowledge base for market intelligence. |
Remuneration
Based on the candidate’s qualification, experience and overall suitability for the post, Cost to Company (CTC) / remuneration payable will be around Rs 20.00 lakh per annum plus other facilities viz. Group Insurance etc.

| b. Educational Qualification | Mandatory Educational Qualification (As on July 31, 2026): Minimum Qualification: Graduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Data Science, Public Policy or a related field from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable: Post-graduate qualification (MBA/PGDM – Strategy/Finance/Analytics, M.Stat, M.Sc. in Data/Analytics, MPP/MPA) or certifications in research/analytics (e.g., CFA, FRM, Data/BI certifications). |
| c. Experience | (As on July 31, 2026) Minimum 5 years of experience in market intelligence, economic/sector research, strategy, consulting, policy research, analytics or business research roles in banks, NBFCs, DFIs, rating agencies, think tanks, consulting firms or analytics organisations. Hands-on experience with: • Building insight briefs and leadership-ready presentations. • Sector/market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and opportunity assessment. • Working with data (Excel/SQL/BI) to triangulate findings and build dashboards/trackers. Note: Applications without relevant experience certificate from the employer would be rejected. |
Selection Process
Selection will be based on shortlisting and a Personal Interview, which will be conducted online on a suitable date (to be informed later) before the Selection Committee.
The Bank will undertake a preliminary screening of applications and may prepare a shortlist of eligible candidates for the interview. Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for the interview. The Bank’s decision regarding shortlisting and calling candidates for the interview will be final, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Merit List
The merit list will be prepared in descending order based only on the marks obtained in the interview. If two or more candidates secure the same cut-off marks, they will be ranked in descending order of age in the merit list.
Wait List
SIDBI reserves the right to prepare a wait list of candidates in different grades and may consider wait-listed candidates to meet future or actual requirements.

Duly filled application (in English or Hindi), as per the format available on the Bank’s website, along with a recent passport-size photograph pasted on it and Curriculum Vitae bearing the candidate’s full signature across the photograph with date, should be sent only through email to recruitment@sidbi.in on or before August 25, 2026.
The subject line of the email should clearly mention:

ii. Applications should be accompanied by self-attested copies of relevant certificates/documents in support of proof of identity, address, age, educational qualification (educational certificates/mark sheets), and work experience, as mentioned in the application form.
iii. Applications not accompanied by photocopies/scanned copies (in case of online applications) of the required certificates/documents, or not submitted in the prescribed format, or not signed by the candidate, or incomplete in any respect, or received after the due date, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
