SBI new LHO inaugurated in Pune, FM Sitharaman praises SBI

The State Bank of India (SBI) has inaugurated new Local Head Office (LHO) in Pune Maharashtra.






This Local Head Office is located in Kharadi, Pune. The Maharashtra Circle serves 29 Districts, has 1,273 Branches, with over 13,000 bank staff. The new LHO has over 1.80 lakh sq. ft. of modern office space.

Pune accounts for 27 percent deposits, 35 percent loans in circle. Maharashtra holds over 20 percent of India’s banking deposits.
Maharashtra attracts the highest share of foreign investment in the country and accounts for nearly 15 percent of India’s exports.
SBI has more than 1,270 branches in the state, with the Maharashtra Circle contributing about 7 percent to its retail business.
Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman praises State Bank of India for being humble despite being the largest Bank in the country.
She said that SBI is the largest Bank in India but still plays a very important role in the public welfare. SBI has always worked and will continue to work for the welfare of general public.
