
The desired bank branch manager involved in fraudulent activities, deceiving customers in the Muzaffarnagar Kakrouli police station area with over one crore rupees, has been apprehended by the police. The accused will be presented in court, and a reward of five hundred rupees had been announced during his fugitive period.
Sunil Kasana, the in-charge of Kakrouli police station in Muzaffarnagar, disclosed that in 2019, regional manager Ram Anek Singh filed a case against State Bank of India branch manager Chandra Mohan Sharma. The allegations accused Sharma of engaging in fraudulent activities with customers, amounting to a deception of 1.16 crore rupees. Sharma had been on the run since then.
Based on informant information, the police arrested the accused from his residence in Agresen Vihar, Muzaffarnagar. The accused will be sent to jail after being presented in court. It was revealed that numerous farmers had complained that substantial amounts were fraudulently withdrawn from their bank accounts. Following the police complaint, an initial investigation identified the bank manager as the culprit, leading to the filing of the case.
