It is worth noting that SBI’s achievement as the most valuable PSU is a significant accomplishment, considering the competitive landscape of the Indian market. The share price of SBI as on 18th February was Rs.757.35. SBI, the largest Indian Bank with 1/4th market share, serves over 48 crore customers through its vast network of over 22,405 branches, 65,627 ATMs/ADWMs, 76,089 BC outlets.

In the third quarter of fiscal year 2024 (Q3FY24), SBI reported standalone net profit of ₹9,164 crore.
