According to recent reports, Rs 32 lakh has gone missing from the Punjab National Bank (PNB) ATM located near Italian Gate in Sadar Bazaar, Gohad. The bank management is currently searching for the missing money, and the police have initiated an investigation into the incident.

The incident came to light on March 24, when the bank manager noticed that the handle of the ATM’s locker was shaking. This raised suspicion, and the manager immediately informed the technical team. After several hours of effort, the technical team managed to open the ATM locker, only to find that the money tray inside the machine was completely empty. However, an amount of Rs 31 lakh 89 thousand was still visible online.

It has been revealed that the responsibility for refilling money in PNB’s ATM lies with a private company. The money was loaded into the ATM on March 22, but no transactions have taken place since then. The fact that the locker was not broken suggests that something may have gone wrong during the process of depositing the money.
