Robbery at Punjab National Bank in Haryana; Electronic items missing in Bank
Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, Haryana: A theft has been reported at Punjab National Bank Branch in Jhajjar, Haryana.
Electronic items, including a note-counting machine, printer, and LCD screen, were stolen from a Punjab National Bank branch located on the Delhi-Jhajjar Road.

Bank employees discovered the theft on Monday morning when they reached the bank. According to the staff, the thieves also tried to cut open the strong room door, but they failed. Police are investigating the case.
In a complaint filed with the police, Bank Manager Upendra Kumar said that when he arrived at the bank on Monday morning, he found the internal lock broken.
The LCD screen and DVR were missing from the wall. During further checking, the staff found that the note-counting machine and printer had also been stolen. The thieves had also attempted to break the strong room door but could not succeed.
According to the manager, the thieves entered the bank through the rear door and escaped by jumping from the roof. The bank’s main entrance was still locked and was found safe on Monday morning.
Police Station Manager Rakesh Kumar reached the spot and started an investigation. Several police teams, including a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team, have been deployed for the inquiry.
The bank was closed on Friday evening, and since Saturday and Sunday were holidays, employees returned only on Monday morning.
