The Reserve Bank has today released data on Reserve Money for the fortnight ended October 17, 2025. The data is as given below. You can also download data from link given at last.

First understand what is Reserve Money: Reserve Money (RM) — also known as High-Powered Money or Base Money — is the most liquid form of money in the economy. It represents the total money created by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and forms the foundation for all other types of money supply (like M1, M2, etc.). Reserve Money (RM) = Currency in Circulation + Bankers’ Deposits with RBI + Other Deposits with RBI. Currency in Circulation (C) means Notes and coins held by the public. Bankers’ Deposits with the RBI (BD) means The funds that commercial banks keep with the RBI (including CRR – Cash Reserve Ratio). Other Deposits with the RBI (OD) means Deposits from government and some institutions.
